Update on Email migration to Google Apps

This just a quick notice to let you know that we have completed the migration of email users to the Google Apps environment. Users can now send and receive mail via the Google Apps platform.

We are now in the process of migrating all of the users existing mail to the Google platform. This should be completed by 9 am EST.

As we announced about a week ago, we will be launching feature-rich a new email platform, powered by Google Apps™, on July 28.

MIGRATION SCHEDULE

The migration of your email data to the new platform will begin on July 28, 2010 at 12:01 am EST and should be complete by July 28, 2010 at 8 am EST.

Planned system maintenance/upgrade 6-17-10

Starting at 2:00a.m. on Thursday June 17, 2010, we will be performing maintenance on our system which will interrupt all cabletv, internet, and phone services for all customers in all of our service areas. We expect the outage to impact different areas at different times but all services should return to normal by 6:00a.m. Thursday morning June 17, 2010. If you are still having cabletv problems after the maintenance period ends please call our business office at 828-682-4074 or 1-800-722-4074. If you are still having problems with internet, or phone after the maintenance period, please power cycle all devices and/or call our 24/7 tech-support line at 1-877-802-0475 or our business office. Users who have static ip addresses will be impacted by the outage but will not lose their static ip addresses. During this maintenance we will be upgrading our network for more capacity and hope all customers benefit. Thank you for understanding.

Account Access available now!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Account Access is available now, just click the link at the top. You will need your account# and pin# to access your account. As of right now you can only change your pin# if you want. You can however view your history, equipment, services, and last statement. Hopefully online payment options will be available in the near future. Thanks
