Start Time: 00:00 ET
End Time: 06:00 ET
Description of work to be performed:
Our bandwidth provider will be replacing a switch device at our Burnsville PoP.
The transition to the new switch will cause some interruption of services to all of CCVN internet and phone customers. The interruptions should be brief as the change over is expected to result in up to 5 minutes of down time. However, the entire maintenance window is reserved.
If you experience any prolonged issues due to this maintenance, please contact technical support at 1-877-802-0475.

The maintenance window on 08/17/2011 starting at 00:01am through 06:00am will affect all internet and phone services in our area. It should not affect TV service. If still having a problem after the maintenance is over please call tech support at 1-877-802-0475. Thanks.

French Broad will be doing maintenance on their fiber network, due to damage, in Madison county on the night of Tuesday the 16th of August and the morning of Wednesday the 17th of August. The maintenance window will begin at 12:00am Wednesday morning and should last until 6:00am. If having problems after 6:00am please call our office and let us know.

| Arris Cable Modem and Phone Issue |

Due to issues from the storm last night most of our Arris MTA's with internet and phone service dropped offline and will not come back on by their self. To remedy this problem you need to physically power cycle the modem.
1. Remove the power cord from the back of the modem or the wall.
2. If the lights are still on then the unit has a battery in it that needs to be pulled. Their should be a door on one end of the modem that opens. Open the door and pop the battery loose and verify the lights are out on the front.
3. If the lights are out pop the battery back in and plug the power up to the modem.
4. Give the modem a couple of minutes and the lights that should be solid are Power, DS, US, Online and the Telephone 1 light (if the unit has telephone on it).
Once all of that is done the internet and phone should be back on. If not give our Tech Support Call Center a call at 1-877-802-0475.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

The International Phone Rates changed effective February 1, 2011. Sorry for not posting this sooner but they have now been updated on the phone services page.

| Channel 13 problems |

The WLOS station has been having problems with their antenna's and transmitters since the storm early in the week. That is why we had the interuptions with ch. 13 and ch. 9 Thursday and off and on all week. Please bear with them as they try to fix these issues. Please bear with us as we have no control over their issues.

We are very sorry but it seems our Contact Us form quit working on Jan 28th, 2011. It is now back up and running so if you sent us an email between Jan 28th and now please send them again as we did not get them. Thank you.
